Saying goodbye to Ms. Summer? It’s nearly ending, I think so. The big word “hassle” may come into your thoughts because rainy days are coming and summer is ending.
Summer offers a lot of opportunities. Of course two months vacation from school, the dry roads, part time jobs, adventures and bonding with the family.
You’re going to miss your summer outfit, beating the heat, your awesome shades or the beaches. No more escapades and no more sunbathing for the wishful tan skins. Suddenly the scenario changes into rain boots, umbrellas, wet shirts and people dashing for shelter. Others are still on a vacation and some are just preparing for their not-so-late summer adventures even if the weather keeps on changing these past few days.
Are you ready for the wet season? You won’t often see the sun rising. You will be coming home with soaked socks and the worst is to forget your umbrella.
When daily afternoon rains start, it’s a sign that June is coming. Which means schools start for a lot of us. It is the time when it is hard to dry clothes. The numbers of low-pressure areas begin increasing. You replace your ice tea to coffee and your shoes into slippers. You often feel dizzy and uncomfortable going out too.
Yet summer never says don’t enjoy the rain. A lot of good things happen when it rain pours. Watch it behind the curtains. Catch it and let it flow in your hands while feeling the cold bump in your skin. Step outside and start dancing while it’s raining. If there’s rain, dry farms will be nourished and the best part? You have good grains growing.
Too much can harm. Whatever the reason, the scenario, and the season, if it’s too much to handle, it can damage. But if you could at least manage yourselves and get ready for the season, you can survive.
