MAPANDAN, Pangasinan – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Pangasinan is set to open another Negosyo Center in this town on March 16, 2023.
DTI-Pangasinan provincial director Natalia Dalaten said the establishment of the Negosyo Center in Mapandan town became possible through the support and initiative of the local government unit.
She said the Negosyo Center in Mapandan town would be the 29th Negosyo Center to be establish in Pangasinan in compliance with Republic Act 10644 otherwise known as the “Go Negosyo Act”.
“Through the establishment of Negosyo Center, we are bringing the services of the government, particularly DTI, closer to our micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) kaya napakagandang opportunity ito para sa ating mga business owners na hindi na nila kailangang lumabas ng kanilang bayan upang magkaroon ng access sa mga serbisyo ng DTI,” Dalaten said.
Dalaten said the establishment of the Negosyo Center seeks to empower and strengthen MSMEs in their economic activities in order to create more job opportunities in the locality.
She said Negosyo Centers also aimed to promote the ease of doing business.
Dalaten said the center will provide business registration assistance, advisory services, information and advocacy, and monitoring and evaluation of business processes for improvement of MSMEs, among others.
Existing Negosyo Centers in Pangasinan are located in Alaminos City, Anda, Bolinao, Lingayen, Bugallon, Mangatarem, Bayambang, Sta. Barbara, Calasiao, San Carlos City, Dagupan City, Mangaldan, San Fabian, Urdaneta City, Binalonan, Laoac, Rosales, San Quintin, Umingan, Tayug, San Nicolas, Balungao, Burgos, Bani, Basista, Pozorrubio, Infanta and Natividad.
