City Veterinary and Agriculture Office (CVAO) head Dr. Silandro Bested underscored that a good worker makes the world better.
In his message during the regular Monday flag raising ceremony, Bested stated that in a world filled with countless opportunities and challenges, being a good worker holds immense power to shift the course of their collective journey.
He claimed that every task, every interaction and every effort that people dedicate to their work has the potential to create ripples of positive change that extend far beyond their immediate surroundings, thus, they must draw inspiration from the profound impact ĺ they can make by being a good worker and strive to live a lasting imprint in the world.
The CVAO head said that at the heart of being a good worker lies a dedication to excellence, thus, it is a commitment to continually refine their skills, expand their knowledge and push the boundaries of their capabilities and that by striving for greatness in their chosen fields, people become catalysts for progress, innovation and advancement.
Through their unwavering pursuit of excellence, he emphasized that people inspire those around them to rise to their fullest potentials and collectively propel society forward.
According to him, a good worker understands the transformative power of collaboration and by fostering a spirit of teamwork, empathy and open communication, people create environments that nurture the growth and wellbeing of all.
Further, people recognize that their individual contributions are only magnified when harmoniously woven together with the talents and perspectives of others. In collaboration, people unleash a force that can tackle complex challenges, solve intricate problems, and create solutions that benefit humanity as a whole.
He explained that beyond the realm of their specific tasks, a good worker embraces the significance of integrity and ethics, thus, they sold themselves to the highest standards of honesty, transparency and moral conduct and by doing so, they establish a foundation of trust and credibility, both in their personal interaction and in the work they produce. Their integrity becomes the guiding light that inspires others to do the same, fostering a culture of authenticity and ethical decision-making that permeates the fabric of society.
More importantly, Bested revealed that a good worker recognizes the power of their work to uplift and serve others, whether they are health care professionals healing the sick, educators shaping young minds, engineers designing sustainable solutions, or artists kindling emotions, their contributions touch the lives of countless individuals.
“We embrace our roles as agents of positive change, working with compassion and empathy to make a tangible difference in the lives of others. Each act of kindness, each moment of understanding, and each solution we provide has the potential to transform lives and contribute to the betterment of the world,” Bested stressed.
As people embark on their individual journeys as workers, he reminded people that they should embark on their individual journeys as workers, and remember that their actions hold power to shape the world that they inhabit where each day presents them with an opportunity to live an indelible mark of goodness, progress and compassion. By being a good worker, people become a beacon of hope, a source of inspiration and catalyst for positive transformation, thus, people must embrace the said noble calling and let their work become a testament to the incredible potentials that lies within each of them to create a world that is brighter, more just and more harmonious for generations to come.
