Pinalawig pa ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang Luzon-wide Enhanced Community Quarantine hanggang katapusan ng Abril 2020. Kaya’t mas mahaba pa ang pananatili natin sa ating mga kabahayan kasama ang ating pamilya upang maiwasan ang pagkalat ng corona virus disease (CoVID-19).

Dahil extended pa ang ating Work From Home arrangement, kami sa SSS ay patuloy pa ring nagbibigay ng serbisyo gamit ang ating iba’t-ibang online facilities na maaaring gamitin ng ating mga miyembro at mga pensyonado sa panahong ito. Prayoridad pa rin natin ang kaligtasan at kalusugan ng bawat isa upang malagpasan natin ang kasalukuyang public health crisis na kinakaharap ng ating bansa.

Talakayin natin ang Bank Enrollment Module o BEM ng SSS. Sa ilalim nito, direktang ma-deposit na ng SSS ang halaga ng benepisyo o loan proceeds sa sariling bank account ng miyembro. Dahil diretso na ito sa kanilang mga bank accounts, hindi na kailangan pang maghintay ng miyembro ng kanyang tseke at pumila pa sa bangko para ma-encash ito. Hindi na rin kailangang magbukas ang miyembro ng panibagong bank account sa tuwing maga-apply ng benepisyo o loan sa SSS dahil ito’y dapat na i-enroll na lamang ng miyembro sa My.SSS bago mag-file ng kanyang benepisyo o loan at mabilis niyang matatangap ang kanyang pera.

Bukas ito para sa lahat ng mga employee-members, voluntary, self-employed kasama rin ang ating mga Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) para sa kanilang kaginhawan at mabilis na transaksyon sa SSS.

Upang maisagawa ang enrollment, sundin lamang ang limang paraan na ito. Una, mag log-in sa My.SSS account. Kung wala pang My.SSS account, maaaring bumisita sa www.sss.gov.ph at sundin lamang ang paraan para makagawa ng sariling My.SSS account. Pangalawa, i-click ang Bank Enrollment sa ilalim ng E-Services tab. Pangatlo, piliin mula sa listahan ang bangko na nais i-enroll, at i-type ang inyong account number ng dalawang beses. Sa kasalukuyan, may 60 accredited commercial, thrift at rural banks ang SSS. Mga 50 naman dito ay Philippine Electronic Fund Transfer System and Operations Network (PESONet) compliant na kung saan gagamitin ito sa automatic crediting ng mga benepisyo at loans ng mga miyembro ng SSS sa hinaharap. Pang-apat, i-click ang box bilang pagsang-ayon sa Data Collection and Usage Clause. I-click ang Enroll; Bank Account pagkatapos ay i-click ang OK. Panghuli, i-check sa inyong e-mail kung natanggap ang Bank Confirmation Notice mula sa SSS.

Ang kagandahan dito, maaaring mag-enroll ang miyembo ng higit sa isang bank account. Kung sakaling ang isang account na naka-enroll ay naging dormant o inactive, kailangan lamang ito i-deactivate ng miyembro mula sa kanyang My.SSS records. Maraming miyembro na ang nag-enrol ng kanilang bank account sa My.SSS na umaabot na sa higit 1.2 milyong bank accounts.

Inaanyayahan ko rin ang ating mga miyembro na huwag kalimutang i-like at i-share ang official Facebook page ng SSS, ang Philippine Social Security System para sa mga karagdagang impormasyon at updates sa mga programa para sa ating mga manggagawa sa pribadong sektor na may kaugnayan sa CoVID-19.

Peter, isa sa kwalipikasyon para makatanggap ng Unemployment Benefit ay dapat hindi temporary ang inboluntaryong pagkakatanggal mo sa trabaho. Nabanggit ninyo na kayo ay pinababalik sa August o September, ibig sabihin tuloy pa rin ang inyong pagtatrabaho. Ang maaaring maitulong ng SSS sa inyo ay ang Calamity Loan Assistance Program. Abangan ninyo sa mga susunod na kolum ko kung ano ang mga panuntunan para dito. Hangad ko ang kaligtasan mo at ng iyong pamilya. Salamat sa iyong pagsulat.

Catherine, isa sa regulasyon sa pag-apply ng Pension Loan ay dapat personal bumisita sa alin mang sangay ng SSS ang retiree-pensioner. Hindi tatanggapin ang anumang aplikasyon kung hindi mismo ang pensyonado ang mag-apply nito. Hindi rin tinatanggap ang anumang authorization letter mula sa pensyonado. Salamat po.
