LUNA, Apayao – Local Government Units (LGUs) across the province reminded business owners to renew business permits as they are currently conducting their Business One Stop Shops (BOSS) for the entire duration of January 2024 as a proactive measure aimed at expediting the facilitation of permits for entrepreneurs.
Aligned with the provisions of Republic Act No. 11032, which underscores the imperative for the government to facilitate swift and efficient company application and renewal services, the BOSS framework provides a systematic and expedited approach to permit processing.
Under the BOSS framework, entrepreneurs can navigate the business permit application procedure in under thirty minutes, contingent upon the timely submission of requisite documentation.
Process of renewing a business permit
Renewing a business permit is a straightforward process that involves three key steps, assuming the client possesses all the required documentation.
Initially, the completion of the Business Permit Unified Form is necessary to compute business taxes and regulatory fees. Subsequently, the permit needs to be paid for, issued, and signed by the Municipal Treasurer. Lastly, approval from the Municipal Mayor or Municipal Administrator is required to finalize the business permit renewal.
Entrepreneurs are encouraged to participate in the 2024 BOSS to ensure a seamless and efficient business transaction experience throughout the designated time frame.
This initiative underscores the commitment of LGUs to promoting a conducive business environment and supporting the business sector in the province. By K. Castillo
