The Provincial Government of Apayao ordered the indefinite suspension of classes in all levels, both in public and private schools, starting March 17, 2020.
The order was issued by Governor Eleanor C. Bulut Begtang in line with the efforts of the provincial government to prevent the possible transmission of the Coronavirus Disease ()COVID-19) in Apayao.
The decision was made upon consultation with the Department of Education (DepEd) Apayao Schools Division Office and recommendation of the Apayao Provincial Task Force on COVID-19.
This suspension shall be in full effect until lifted through a subsequent order.
