John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC), a member of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), expects to automate its regulatory processes this year.
With the BCDA subsidiaries, the JHMC will be second from Clark Development Corporation (CDC) to automate.
In a meeting conducted for the purpose, attended by the JHMC top management and all its locators, regulatory permits issued by the various frontline departments of the JHMC can be processed online by the JHMC locators.
The issuing departments of these regulatory permits are: Environment and Asset Management Department (EAMD), Office of the Building Official, and the Special Economic Zone Administration Department (SEZAD).
Addressing the locators present, Allan R. Garcia, JHMC President and CEO said, “Another milestone of our partnership begins. The JHMC, through the initiative of the SEZAD and in collaboration with the Information and Communications Technology Division (ICTD) formulated this project which analyzes and develops the automation of the processing system of the frontline services of the corporation.”
“This technology is user-friendly and functional. It will help you track and manage your transactions in a manner that right information shall be given to the right people in real time enabling an efficient process flow and decision making, ” Garcia explains.

Further, it is also the first step to integrate all government processes into one. JHMC aims to link the system to other agencies and maximize online application which advance technology offers.
Meanwhile, Garcia reassures all locators that, under his leadership, JHMC continually commits to protect and uphold their interest. He further encourages them to share the vision of the corporation to transform Camp John Hay as the primary catalyst for tourism development in the Cordillera Region.
The JHMC is faithful with the mandate of the present administration to full disclosure and transparency in public service and its commitment to ethical business practices and good corporate governance.
