Each day that we live is a day to be grateful and to go. To be grateful of the blessings we have received and to go on living the gift of life we have.
There are days when we are so joyful and energetic to start the day. There are also days when we feel uninspired and tired to jumpstart the day. How would you face these kinds of days?
My suggestion in both cases is to be grateful and go.
First, be grateful. Look at the present and recognize that you are still alive. That alone is something to be grateful for. Check the roof over your head, the bed you just slept on, the meals you just had yesterday and the breakfast you are about to have, the air that you breathe, the family and friends that you have, the dreams you have achieved and your other dreams that are about to be achieved. Say ‘thank you.’
When you start to appreciate these things and be more grateful of the seemingly little things in life, you will start to see things in a better perspective. You will realize how blessed you are and it is not right at all not to be grateful.
And when you are grateful, you will be happier. When you are happier, you will be more alive. When you are alive, you will be able to love more and serve more. The natural side effect is that you will be able to achieve more and do more.
When you do this first step, the second step will naturally follow.
Second, go! What comes with the thought and words of gratitude is the action of gratitude. I think the action of gratitude is to go – to go and continue living and loving. Thus: go, achieve your dreams. Go, meet and serve other people. Go, share your gift to the world. Go, be an inspiration. Go, spread life’s goodness. Go, go, go!
When you keep doing the right things that you are doing, you will have more reasons to be thankful. You will have more to be grateful for. The cycle goes on and the circumference of your ‘life’s circle’ widens.
The more you are grateful, the further you go. The further you go, the more grateful you will be.
With this, even if you are faced with the difficulties of life, you still be able to persevere. You know that amidst life difficulties, there are a lot of things we can be grateful for. These things will help us push further and go further.
Are you having a fun day today? Be grateful and go! Are you having a difficult day today? Be grateful and go! Each day, be grateful and go!
It won’t be easy. But this can be the easy way: be grateful and go!
