ITOGON, Benguet – The decomposing body of a male cadaver was found by residents dumped in a 100-meter deep ravine at sitio Caloog, Samuyao, here, Monday afternoon.
Police authorities described the cadaver to be about 5’2” in height and already in the state of advance decomposition with skeletonized head.
Investigation further reveals that the cadaver has facial fractures around the nose caused by a blunt object or as an impact when it fell on the ravine. No document was recovered with regards to the identity of the cadaver which was brought to Bahay-Damayan Funeral Homes at Marcos Hi-way, Baguio City for the conduct of post-mortem examination.
