BONTOC, Mountain Province – A member of the Civilian Armed Forces Geographical Unit (CAFGU) was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant for carnapping in his alleged hideout at Poblacion, here, Wednesday.
Police authorities identified the arrested individual as Romel Gallawen Churping, 21, CAFGU member, and a resident of Saclit, Sadanga, Mountain Province.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Luis Daongen of the Municipal Trial court (MTC) in Bontoc for alleged carnapping.
The arrested individual was brought to the Bontoc Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against him.
