City officials approved the earlier request for the hiring of casual service of one radiologic technologist I, Salary Grade – 11, in the City health Services office (CHSO) from March to August 2023 subject to the rules and regulations governing the employment of emergency or casual basis personnel.

On March 13, 2023, the Mayor wrote the members of the City Council requesting for the hiring of one radiologic technologist 1, Salary Grade 11, in the CHSO on a casual employment status for the period March to December 2023 to give ample time for the training and turnover of duties of Rodolfo Paraguison, the current radiologic technologist of the said office, due to his anticipated retirement in June 2023.
In a certificate of availability of funds dated March 13, 2023, the city’s Local Finance Committee certified that the amount of P563,000 is available under the 2023 current appropriations of the CHSO earmarked for personnel services of plantilla items.
The CHSO urgently needs the services of a radiologic technologist because of the daily volume of people needing to undergo the required x-ray examination as part of the requirement for their employment and other purposes considering that the office is a public health facility.
Radiologic technologists are one of the highly skilled personnel in demand in both private and public institutions locally and overseas considering their expertise in handling state-of-the-art x-ray equipment in laboratories.
