BAGUIO CITY – Mayor Mauricio G. Domogan said the local government welcomes the complaints of concerned citizens being coursed through the hotline 8888 of the Civil Service Commission CSC) to make sure that the appropriate services are promptly delivered to the public.
The local chief executive said that while it shows that some local government offices have been the subject of complaints by concerned citizens over hotline 8888 since it was opened to the public, the concerns raised against the said offices had been answered by the employees and department heads concerned and the formal reply to the said complaints were already forwarded to the Office of the president and CSC.
He claimed among the complaints received by the hotline 8888 that were referred to the local government for appropriate action include the snail-paced processing of documents, non-implementation of demolition orders, arrogant employees and delayed releases of pertinent documents.
However, Domogan explained all the issues raised against concerned offices of the local government were already given due course within the prescribed time limit given to the city officials to respond to such complaints and he expressed confidence that the CSC and Office of the President will find merit to their responses.
“We welcome the complaints of our constituents being coursed through hotline 8888 because it will help us closely monitor the activities of our officials and employees who are performing their assigned duties and responsibilities. We are confident that we were able to effectively and efficiently address the earlier complaints,” Domogan stressed.
He added some of the complaints were reportedly not true and those who made the complaints were simply trying to test whether or not the designated hotline is actually working.
According to him, there is nothing wrong if the offices in the local government had been the recipient of numerous complaints from the public which were coursed through the hotline because it only means that the public is aware of their rights and that they want the malpractices of government officials and employees to be corrected through the actions of the CSC and the office of the President.
Earlier, the CSC launched hotline 8888 that will serve as a common complaint desk of the public against all officials and employees of local governments and government agencies whom they believe have committed abuses in the exercise of their assigned duties and responsibilities.
Domogan claimed one of the reasons why some offices of the local government had received numerous complaints is because of the huge volume of transactions in the said offices daily which might have affected actions made on some documents but such inactions should not be immediately construed as negligence on the part of the officials and employees considering that the city is a highly urbanized city catering to not only residents but also visitors alike transacting business with the local government.

hi good day can you please make an action for the philhealth everytime po kasi na tatawag ako for concern on their online transaction laging busy or nahohold yung calls. non sense yung pa online online transaction… ang laging pinapatawag sa call center ng philhealth but yet no answer from them laging ringtone ng philhealth. busy ang mga agents or tamad sumagot ng phone calls oh baka isang agent lang nakaasign…
May reklamo po ako about sa panganganak ng anak ko nag bill po sya ng 33k less philhealth bale po naging total ay 11k plus after a while llabas na kami ng hospital sabi ng naka duty na nurse may bbayaran pa daw ako na 14,570 nabigla po ako akala all paid un pala sa dra dw nanningil ng wala resibo isang maliit na scratch un iaabot sa akin sabi nila kulang pa daw un bayad ko sa dra syempre wala ako ganon hawak na pera d daw ako aalis ng hospital na di bayad matutulungan nyo po ba ako sa naging situation ko on that day umaasa po sa tulong nyo
Complain for bacolod city water walang tubig na naman sa aming lugar. Bangga cory, circumferential road near hecitas pension house. Usually ang sked ng water is from 4am-7am lang and we are paying 700-800/ month. 2 days na walang tubig.
