To keep all highways and major thoroughfares clear of debris and hazards due to the heavy rains and strong winds brought about by Typhoon Betty, the Baguio cops have conducted road-clearing operations in the different areas in the City of Baguio.
In Harrison Road, police officers of the Mobile Patrol Unit (MPU) removed the long branches of a tree that might fall and be a potential hazard to motorists traveling along the said area.
Meanwhile, the police officers of the City Mobile Force Company (CMFC) also conducted road-clearing operations along Camp John Hay, South Drive, and Governor Pack Road removing all fallen tree branches and obstructions along the said areas.
As of the press time, Baguio cops are continuously conducting weather monitoring and mobile patrols to ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians and the smooth flow of traffic in the city.
