City officials recently commended Grace Nabus for her exemplary and outstanding service as a health care provider in the United Kingdom (UK).
In a resolution, local legislators stated that Nabus’s remarkable character, sense of voluntarism, and grit as a nurse are testaments to her commitment in making a positive difference not only in her immediate community but also the world and is truly worthy of emulation by health care professionals.
Nabus demonstrated exemplary dedication and outstanding service as a health care provider in the United Kingdom through the years.
She was conferred the Rising Star Award from the Royal College of Nursing in London and was also included in England’s National Health Service funded Empathy Museum ‘From Where I Am Standing Project and Florence Nightingale Foundation’s Leadership Impact Series, among others.
The council stipulated that with her effort as founder and co-founder of several organizations that push forward the cause of Baguio-Benguet nurses and other health care workers abroad demonstrates the innate qualities of a Baguio-born and bred leader and has brought great honor and pride to the city.
