BONTOC, Mountain Province – Three individuals were arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant that was served inside Camp Melchor dela Cruz, Upi, Gamo, Isabela early Friday dawn.
Police authorities identified the arrested individuals as Gesser B. Lumines, Gerson B. Lumnines and Elvis W. Gannisi.
The three individuals were arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Joseph Patnaan of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 35 in Bontoc for murder with no bail recommended for their temporary liberty.
The three individuals are being linked to the brutal murder of Chief Inspector Benjamin Chaloy, chief of the Highway Patrol Group (HPG) in Mountain Province over a month ago.
The arrested individuals were brought to the Bontoc Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against them.
