The Philippine Franchise Association (PFA) in its commitment to promote entrepreneurship through franchising as well as to capacitate MSMEs is set present Franchise Negosyo Para sa Baguio on June 13-14 at Baguio Country Club.
“Franchise Negosyo para sa Baguio” is part of the official activities of the North Luzon Area Business Conference organized by PCCI Baguio-Benguet Chapter and will feature a two-day franchise expo, business matching opportunities and educational seminars.
Franchise Expo is free and is open for everyone who wants to venture in franchising. It will showcase homegrown and foreign brands raging from food, retail and service sectors featuring BrentGaz, Canadian Tourism and Hospitality Institute, Dermaline, Figaro, Gamot Publiko, Hukad, Inengs BBQ, Master Siomai, Minute Burger, Phoenix Petroleum, Rapide, Seaoil, Merry Mango and Xcess Salon.
“Acquiring a franchise gives you 90 percent success rate because you are duplicating the success of an established brand. This allows would-be franchisees to invest safely and wisely” says PFA President Richard Sanz. “Franchise Negosyo Para sa Baguio is part of our advocacy in promoting franchising as an effective tool for nation- building and economic development because franchising creates businesses that generates jobs“ he added.
Complementing the expo are the educational seminars on “How to Invest in the Right Franchise” for would-be franchisees, on June 13, 9:00-12:00NN and “How to Franchise your Business” for business owners who want to grow their business from one to many at 1:30- 4:30PM.
“In partnership with DTI-CAR and PCCII Baguio-Benguet, our regional shows are part of capacity building activities to help MSMEs to grow via franchising” PFA Director for MSME Franchises Ms. Sherill Quintana noted.
In the recent record published by DTI-CAR, Baguio and Benguet remains to be the main incubation hub for growing MSMEs. At present there are 11,000 MSMEs in Cordillera ranging from all sectors.
