BAGUIO CITY – To capacitate DOST-assisted and other interested Micro Small Medium Enterprises to improve their business operations, the Department of Science and Technology -CAR thru its Provincial Science and Technology Office Benguet conducted a Training on Management Information System on April 13-14, 2023 at the Health 100, Ecolodge Function Hall, Baguio City.
About 30 participants composed of managers and members, book keepers of MSMEs and community-based associations were able to participate in the said capacity building activity.
Engr. Irish Martin Faculty of Saint Louis University conducted a lecture and workshop on MIS, specifically covered the Accounting and Inventory System to be employed in operating a business.
DOST- Provincial S&T Director Sheila Marie Singa- Claver encouraged the participants to apply the learnings during the training to improve their operations.
The training is part of the interventions for MSMEs under the Small Enterprises Technology Upgrading of the DOST. By DOST-CAR
