A vehicle reported placed under Land Transportation Office alarm was recovered in Apayao. The incident happened at around 2:00 PM of August 28, 2018 in Brgy. Poblacion, Luna, Apayao.
Investigation revealed that a green Toyota Vios G bearing plate number ADY 3540 and registered to Najmah B. Sampao of San Agustin Capitol, Pasig City was previously placed under LTO alarm.
When personnel of Luna Municipal Police Station received an information that said vehicle will be sold to a buyer, they conducted monitoring at the place of incident and saw the vehicle parked along the Municipal Road with the subject person and showing it to an alleged buyer.
The operating personnel immediately approached the scene and recovered the vehicle from the possession and control of the subject person, identified as Archer Soriano Galano, 32 years old, married, driver, and resident of Brgy. Pinili, Abulug, Cagayan.
The Luna MPS personnel later apprehended him upon verification and identification of the vehicle.
The subject person and recovered vehicle were brought to Luna MPS for safekeeping and further investigation. The case is under investigation.
