LAGAWE, Ifugao – The province’s No. top most wanted person facing separate rape charges was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on two warrants of arrest in his alleged hideout at sitio Bumangon, Quirino, Cordon, Isabela, Friday.
Police authorities identified the arrested wanted individual as arrested John Ballawid.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Esther Piscozo-Flor of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 34 in Banaue, Ifugao for rape with no bail recommended and another warrant for rape in relation to the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 7610 or the Anti-Child Abuse Act with a recommended bail of P200,000 for his temporary liberty.
The arrested individual was turned over to the Banaue Municipal Police Station for proper documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the cases filed against him.
