TABUK CITY, Kalinga– Different organizations of the Kalipunan ng Liping Pilipina (KALIPI) are set to compete for a video making contest this month.
The purpose of the contest is to show the notable accomplishments of KALIPI from 2021 to April 2022 in the three areas of women development, namely self-enhancement, community participation, and productivity skills development, according to Social Welfare Officer Rhonda Vail Lappao of the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO).
The 13 videos, each lasting five to seven minutes, have already been posted on the KALIPI Tabuk Facebook page according to Lappao, who also announced that the winner of the prize for best social media will receive P7,000.00.
The 13 entries will also be on exhibit for the general public to see under the City Hall canopy.
In order to carry out the initiatives they have specified, the KALIPI, one of the organizations supported by the CSWDO, maintains partnerships with numerous offices and agencies, including the Department of Labor and Employment, City Barangay Affairs and Coordinating Office and the City Environment and Natural Resources Office.
The city administration also continues its support for the KALIPI and ensures that their projects are well-funded.
