Li-ning Lends a Hand to Bulado Cup

BAGUIO CITY – Li-ning Badminton, the official sponsor of the Philippine Badminton Team, recently partnered with the Bulado Cup as secondary sponsor of the 3rd Bulado Cup tournament held November 27, 2016 at the YMCA gym here.

Li-ning representative Shane Chua Estigoy, also said that Li-ning Badminton co-sponsored the tournament as part of its product marketing as well as to scout for possible players in the north specially college students for possible scholarship grants for schools in Manila. Li-ning also provided medals and door prizes for the raffle draw during the tournament.

A total of 94 pairs from different badminton clubs in Baguio City and other areas smashed it out in the day’s tournament for corporate badminton enthusiasts.

Winners in the two division badminton tilt for corporate men and women were: Level A, Men’s Doubles-1st Place- Kyle Nepomuceno & Vj Salazar (Ragsak), 2nd Place- Jay Claveria & Jeff Sumentac (YMCA), 3rd place- Ems Manabat & Norman Elpa. Level A, Women’s Doubles; 1st Place-Erma Gallardo & Mary Sebastian, 2nd Place-Jinky Gonzaga & Minie Bagyan, 3rd Place-Joberly Banaag & Shekinah Banaag.

Level B Men’s Doubles; 1st Place-Mark Que & Erick Basto(YMCA), 2nd Place-Cedric Oania & Rhitsel Bustamante(Philex), 3rd Place-Gerald Dioquino & Ej Brul. Level B Women’s Doubles; 1st Place-Charity Fuentespina & Judith Beldad(Ragsak), 2nd Place-Emjay Dupingay & Carol Gamueda, 3rd Place- Sai Balanag & Kristel Agcon.

Level C Men’s Doubles; 1st Place-Jomar Sumalet & Rodel Alquisal(Ragsak), 2nd Place-Erick Mabalot & Timothy Lee (YMCA), 3rd Place-Luis Lorenzana & Rejie Abalos(DagupanBC). Level C Women’s Doubles; 1st Place- Mary Ann Mabalot & Liezl Fabiculanan(Philex), 2nd Place- Evelyn Sitompul & Divine Mencio, 3rd Place-Emy Castro & Remy Callora. Level D Men’s Doubles; 1st Place-Benhur Aquino & Christian Agsalud, 2nd Place-Lyndon Zabala & Macky Magno, 3rd Place-Gwayne Liganzo & Lendon Sison. Level D Women’s Doubles; 1st Place – Jona Cariaso & Rhoda Parayno, 2nd Place-Rowena Bautista & Eleanor Dabucol, 3rd Place-Josiphine Bulado & Maureen Mabalot(YMCA).

Level E Men’s Doubles; 1st Place- Kazan Blair Benigno & Albert Ralph Tumpao(La Trinidad BC), 2nd Place- Jay-r Guinto & Richard Daculan (YMCA), 3rd Place-Ace Tugas & Elijah Gabrielle Malicdem(YMCA). Level E Women’s Doubles; 1st Place-Vanessa Pacito & Gem Acosta, 2nd Place-Josephine Malana & Sheryl Jay Sagnep, 3rd Place-Fe Bartolome & Juliane.

Meanwhile the Mixed Doubles winners were: Level A 1st Place-Kyle Nepomuceno & Issa Uy Martinez, 2nd Place- Vj Salazar & Cara Minigod, 3rd Place- Jinky Gonzaga and Jhong Carr. Level B 1st Place-Bren Bordallo & Shekaina Banaag, 2nd Place-Mark Que & Sai Balanag, 3rd Place- Mercy Oania & Roland Oania. Level C 1st Place-Liezl Fabiculanan & Nico Fabiculanan, 2nd Place-Philip Malto & Dianne Mercado, 3rd Place-Mary Ann Mabalot & Timothy Lee.

Level D 1st Place-Rogie Abalos & Elsa Carr, 2nd Place-Eleanor Dabucol & Rhey Oliva, 3rd Place-Josephine Bulado & Jhonson Cea. Level E 1st Place-Mayville Lachica & Gelo Amansec, 2nd Place-Kamran Kafayati & Jhen Pascua, 3rd Place-Richard Daculan & Sheryl Sagnep. The winners in the tournament were awarded with Medals Certificates and Cash prizes.
