BAGUIO CITY – People searching for co-working and collaborative places in the city and other parts of Northern Luzon will surely be grateful for the plan of an established co-working place to expand its operation not only in the city but also in La Union.
Kalye Uno, which is located along First Road Quezon Hill, is the first co-working place in the city that started operation in September with an internet speed of 300 mbps and operates round-the-clock.
Ace Estrada II, Kalye Uno Managing Director, said the operation of the Baguio Post Office area as a co-working place is now in the works awaiting approval from government agencies, moving its planned launching in December to next year.

According to him, Kalye Uno has some 60 members which is a good start, thus, the need for more people to embrace the co-working conceptfor them to experience convenience in the discharge of their duties and responsibilities, and to be able to be productive even outside the four corners of their offices.
Estrada said the main consideration is the presence of reliable signals of telecommunication companies for them to be able to establish an effective co-working place.
He claimed there is a growing demand for co-working accessibility among today’s youth and Kalye Uno is willing to expand its operations around the city to address the growing need for reliable internet that allows people to effectively and efficiently accomplish their assigned tasks without reporting for work.
