BONTOC, Mountain Province – Governor Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, Jr. awarded certificates of appreciation to Assistant Regional Director Atty. Sixto T. Rodriguez, Jr., of the Cordillera office of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE-CAR), and DOLE-Mountain Province Provincial Director Apollo R. Luspian, in appreciation and recognition of the said officials’ valuable contributions to the efficient and effective implementation of the DOLE programs and projects for the benefit of the constituents of the province.
The brief ceremony was held at the Provincial Governor’s Office earlier today and was witnessed by Executive Assistants Michael A. Patting, George Lumiwes and Winston V. Calde and Provincial Information Officer Novy R. Afidchao.
“On behalf of the provincial government, I wish to extend my profound gratitude and appreciation to the countless assistance that the DOLE has been providing to our people. Many of our province’s displaced and disadvantaged workers have gained employment in their very own municipalities which we know have helped them meet their basic needs, especially in this time of pandemic,” Lacwasan said.
“The annual Summer Program for the Employment of Students also continue to benefit our people. Sapay kuma ta agtultuloy dagitoy nga programa iti DOLE tapnu adda ti mangnayun iti bassit nga pundon ti probinsya para iti makunkuna nga social services,” he added.
