The former governor strongly endorsed congressional aspirant and former Sabangan Mayor Engr. Jupiter C. Dominguez for the province’s lone congressional post because he possesses the qualities of a true leader to lead Mountain Province to greater heights.
Malinias narrated his bizarre experience on how the younger generation of leaders have led the province over the past 3 years that is why it is high time for the people to sincerely vote in for seasoned and veteran politicians, like Dominguez who deserves to be the next congressman of Mountain Province.
Jupiter is the nephew of the late Rep. Victor S. Dominguez who showed to the people the brand of leadership that is absent in the present batch of leaders in Mountain Province.
According to the former provincial official, it is unfortunate that the young ones now are simply banking on the good qualities and past performance of their politician fathers who served the province in various capacities but they do not seems to have the values of sincerity, especially those who are only running to continue their family’s dominance, or their dynasty, thus, the need for the people bring in new blood to help in further advancing the current state of the province to greater heights.
Malinias urged the province’s electorate to vote sincerely by casting their votes in favor of Dominguez demonstrated the good qualities of a real leader, and maintained these even in his private capacity with the help of his other siblings, that contributed in providing assistance to the residents in need of help.
He asserted that leaders must put premium on sincerity to lead and compassion for the welfare of the greater majority so that the province can reach higher levels of development and welfare for the people.
Aside from having served as the province’s governor, Malinias also served as the municipal mayor of the vote-rich Bauko town.
Earlier, former and incumbent provincial and municipal officials have joined forces to endorse the candidacy of Dominguez for the province’s lone congressional post in the upcoming May polls.
