PARACELIS, Mountain Province – The province’s top 10 most wanted person involved in the snatching and burning of one of the Precinct Count Optical Scan (PCOS) machines in this municipality during the May 2010 synchronized national elections was arrested by police operatives at sitio Apalis, barangay Bunot here over the weekend.
Senior Superintendent Oliver Enmodias, director of the Mountain Province Provincial Police Office, identified the arrested wanted individual as Nestor Puyao, Danngangao, 39 and a resident of the aforesaid place.
Danngangao was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Bontoc for an election offense particularly the snatching and burning of one of the PCOS during the canvassing of votes in one of the remote precincts here.
He was subsequently detained at the Mountain Province provincial jail awaiting the disposition of his case which he committed five years ago.
