BAGUIO CITY – Punong barangays from the city’s one hundred twenty-eight barangays formally elected the new set of officers for the Liga ng mga Barangay that will serve their term 2023 to 2025.
Gen. Emilio F. Aguinaldo (GEFA), formerly Lower Rock Quarry, punong barangay Rocky M. Aliping bested Lower Quirino Hill punong barangay Van Oliver Dicang in a one on one toss up for president and who will be taking over the place of former president and Councilor Michael L. Lawana while Pucsusan punong barangay ‘Carl Gabaen was proclaimed as the winning vice president and Holy Ghost Proper punong barangay Murphy Maspil, Sr. was declared the winning auditor.
The proclaimed winning members of the Board of Directors are AZCKO PB Jefferson Cheng, South Central Aurora Hill PB Levy Lloyd Orcales, Brookside PB James Doligas, Quezon Hill Proper PB Arnold Malicdan, Camdas PB Jeanette Floresca, Aurora Hill Proper PB May Gonzales, Fort Del Pilar Jacky Lomibao and Atok Trail PB Federico Codley.
Aliping will be serving as an ex-officio member of the city council until December 2025 when the new set of Liga ng mga Barangay officials shall have been elected during the December 2025 barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections.
