LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – The Police Regional Office Cordillera welcomes the 25th Chief of the Philippine National Police, Police General Debold Menorias Sinas, in his 1st command visit in PROCOR that coincides with the 30th PNP Foundation Anniversary with the theme “PNP @30: Kakampi Mo Laban sa Droga, Kurapsyon at Terorismo”.
The Chief PNP who was accompanied by the Command Group and the Directorial Staff, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
As part of the program, the CPNP with the Regional Director led the wreath-laying ceremony in honor of all the PROCOR personnel who died in line of duty.
In his message, PGen Sinas commended the Police Regional Office Cordillera’s leadership for effectively leading PROCOR in the principles of service, honor and justice. “Ang pundasyon ng isang organisasyon ay nagmumula sa pagkakaisa ng bawat miyembro nito”, he added.
Further, he laid down the five directives which include the campaign against illegal drugs, anti-corruption, anti-terrorism, campaign on ending local communist armed conflict and on anti-illegal gambling.
Citing the numerous reports reaching his office on marijuana eradication operations, the Chief PNP lauded PROCOR’s relentless anti-illegal drug efforts. He also noted the quality equipment as observed during the inspection of ranks and static display.
On the other hand, he reiterated the intensified internal cleansing and anti-corruption program to ensure that there are no drug-user or corrupt personnel among its ranks.
After the ceremony, a command conference presided by the Chief PNP followed where PBGen Pagkalinawan presented the efforts of the Cordillera police force in keeping with its peace and order and public safety functions amid the current health crisis. (PROCOR RPIO)
