BAGUIO CITY – The sale of power tools remains a lucrative business, especially in Baguio City, thus the presence of power tools in their fifth hub in the city remains to be one of its major sales component, a senior official of Bosch Philippines said here recently.
William Go, Country Sales Director, Bosch Power Tools, said the operation of the company’s Northern Luzon hub in Baguio City will definitely address the growing demand for quality power tools to be used by the people in their various requirements.
He explained that despite having a population of 500,000 to date, Baguio accounts for 10 percent of the company’s sales for power tools in the country and the eventual operation of its hub in the city is strategic in improving its sales for power tools.
At present, the company’s Power Tools, Automotive Aftermarket, Building Technology, and Drive & Control division will be driving the business.
Go guaranteed that the Bosch power tools are of top quality with company dealers reporting only 1 to 2 percent of the power tools sold being brought back for whatever defects.
According to him, the 1 to 2 percent of returned power tools for identified defects or problems is minimal compared to their rapidly increasing sales due to the contribution of the construction and mining industries, the major users of power tools.
Go assured the company’s prospective clients that the power tools, equipment parts and machineries are guaranteed to be original for the same to serve their prescribed purpose in the involved industries.
Last week, Bosch opened its fifth hub in the country in Baguio City following simple but meaningful ceremonies with the presence of company executives.
Bosch executives are bullish about the growth potentials of Northern Luzon being one of the recipients of the administration’s build, build, build program that is why it pushed through with the establishment of its latest hub in the city.
Bosch will also support the mining industry’s need for reliable vehicles in the transport of precious materials as well as the growing number of cars up north by providing automotive parts, diagnostic equipment, and software that caters to private, commercial and heavy-duty vehicles.
Located along Otek Street, this is the company’s first business hub in the northern region. The facility is equipped with a showroom, training spaces, and after-sales support for Bosch products.
Go encouraged interested dealers, suppliers and even the general public to visit their Baguio hub for them to appreciate the display of state-of-the-art power tools, machineries and others which they may use.
The Baguio business hub is a testament to Bosch’s ongoing commitment to help Northern Luzon accelerate its momentum of progress.
Go underscored the northern region of the Philippines holds strong growth potential in the construction, hospitality and mining industries that Bosch is able to serve with its diverse portfolio of innovative products and solutions.
