Citing reports submitted to the Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE identified the suspects as Roderick Bermudez Afroilan, 27, listed as No. 12 Regional Target of PNP/PDEA and No. 7 Provincial Level Drug Personality in Abra; and Grena Guinaban Acopiado, 28, listed as No. 21 Regional Target listed of PNP/PDEA and No. 8 Provincial level Drug Personality of Abra.
The suspects were arrested after selling one (1) small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu weighing .02 grams with an Standard Drug Price (SDP) of P1,000 to an undercover operative.
During the course of their arrest, operatives also seized (1) plastic sachet of suspected shabu weighing more or less 6 grams with SDP of PHP 40,800.00
The confiscated pieces of evidence were marked and documented on-site witnesses by Mr. Edgar Tanora from the Media; Mrs. Elvira B Baay, Barangay Captain; and Marlbour Jude Valera, Barangay Kagawad.
The suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Bangued MPS for documentation, while a case for violation of R.A. 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 is being prepared for filing against them. (PROCOR-PIO)
