Movie enthusiasts can look forward to viewing these flicks for the upcoming weekend at SM Cinema Baguio with enhanced safety measures during their film-watching experience. The SM Cinema Baguio is open from Friday to Sunday.

Mall goers can choose from four movies this weekend: Doraemon: Nobita’s New Dinosaur, “English Only, Please”, Awoken, and The Girl in the Orange Dress.

Doraemon: Nobita’s New Dinosaur is a G-rated animated film that features a well-known group of characters that are sure to bring children and adults to their fun-filled adventure. This kid-friendly flick shows at 12:30 PM, 3:00 PM, and 6:00 PM from February 19-21.

Couples and rom-com fanatics are going to enjoy watching these Filipino romantic films: “English Only, Please” and The Girl in the Orange Dress.

Actors Derek Ramsay and Jennylyn Mercado star in the English Only, Please which is a PG-rated romantic comedy film. The movie tells the story of a Filipino-American man that hired a translator to help him translate a letter to be given to the woman who broke his heart. Showtimes for this flick are 12:40 PM, 3:20 PM, and 5:30 PM from February 19-21.

The Girl in the Orange dress is a PG-rated romantic film starring Jessy Mendiola and Jericho Rosales. This movie follows a woman who after a night of partying, wakes up next to a famous movie star. The showtimes are 1:30 PM, 4:00 PM, 6:00 PM from February 19-21.

For the horror genre fans, Awoken is rated R-16 which features the story of a young medical student and her attempt to cure her brother of a terminal sleep illness but in her journey, it is revealed that his condition has a mysterious and ominous reason. This horror flick shows at 1:00 PM, 3:30 PM, and 6:00 PM from February 19-21.

SM Cinema Baguio continues to ensure that safety protocols are followed and observed through its #SafeandFunMovieWatching campaign. Social distancing is also followed through their smaller viewing capacity with their one-seat gap policy and one-row distance.

All guests are required to wear face masks and face shields. There are also fewer screenings daily due to sanitation procedures within the theaters and high-touch surfaces. Alcohol and sanitizer dispensers are also available within the cinema premises.
