BAGUIO CITY April 04 – Still unidentified burglar has allegedly ransacked a multi-million cellphone shop-based right at the heart of the Session Road early dawn today.
Based on reports from the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) both padlocks of the said cellphone shopped were reportedly cut using a bolt cutter which was later recovered by police investigators near the drainage system of the city’s main road that was in front of the shop.
However, probers are still conducting an in-depth investigation and processing the crime scene to ascertain the individuals responsible for the said burglary of the cellphone shop.
Further, probers initially estimate the stolen items to reach millions of pesos considering the number of cellphone units that have been reported to have been taken away by the still unidentified robbers. Footages that were taken from the closed-circuit television cameras within the vicinity of the shop showed a woman and some other companions who were within the crime scene at the time of the incident that establishes the conclusion that the incident is the handy work of an organized robbery syndicate operating not only in the city but also in other neighboring urban centers.
Moreover, a still unidentified Sports Utility Vehicle was also seen in the said footages which was believed to have been used by the suspects their getaway vehicle carting away their multi-million loot. By Dexter A. See
