BAGUIO CITY – This June, #SMStationeryArtFest will make a stop at SM City Baguio with talks and workshops by artists from the City of Pines. Now on its 3rd year, the SM Stationery Artfest has showcased popular arts and crafts like Script Lettering, Brush Pen Calligraphy, Floral Watercolour Painting, Doodling, Etching, Oriental Pattern Collage, Psychedelic Art and Crunchy and Glowy Slime Making around the SM Malls.
On June 15-17, 2018, Baguio-based artists Ayra Gallanza, Pinsel’s Lira and Duds Maranan, Celvic Villacorta, Kate Diso-Agustin, and Christine Chan will share their creativity and artistry with mallgoers in a series of talks and workshops.
Pinsel’s Lira Maranan and sister Duds will be sharing the basics of Galaxy Watercolor Painting; Ayra Gallanza will highlight the basics of brush letters, fauxlligraphy and travel postcard painting; and Celvic Villacorata will teach participants how to make Shrinky Dinks and their own pencil case designs.
Calligraphy artists Cristine Chan and Kate Diso-Agustin will mentor budding artists on their crafts – 3 D watercolor and basic botanicals and calligraphy, respectively.
