The Office of Baguio Congressman Mark Go collaborated with concerned government agencies for the establishment of valuable assets of public schools and their students that will foster a healthier and more active learning environment to cope up with the present trends in the global education sector.
Earlier, Rep. mark Go, together with representatives from the Department of Public Works and Highways – Baguio City District Engineering Office (DPWH-BCDEO) and the Department of Education – City Schools Division (DepEd), collaborated for the conduct of a joint inspection on the construction of a closed gymnasium at the Manuel L. Quezon Elementary School.
The conduct of the joint inspection was a clear testament of the collaboration between public officials and concerned government agencies for the sustained and continuous improvement of educational resources and promoting physical fitness and extra-curricular activities among students.
Further, the collaborative efforts being initiated by Congressman Go with the active support of the DPWH and DepEd – Baguio would lead to the creation of a modern, safe, and well-equipped closed gymnasium in the said school.
The lawmaker expressed hope that there will be similar modern closed gymnasiums that will be established in other public schools in the city to realize the overall objective of the collaboration for the creation of an active learning environment for the students.
The Office of the Baguio Congressman will continue to foster such collaborative relationship with similar government agencies for the continuous implementation of high impact development projects that will be beneficial to the welfare of the greater majority of the populace.
