YMCA-KAITAGI Judokas are now gearing up in preparation for the up-coming University of the Philippines-Diliman, invitational judo tournament in celebration of their 50th Anniversary, scheduled on March 29, 2015(Sunday) at the College of Human Kinetics gymnasium at Ylanan Street, UP Diliman Quezon City.
In line with the above stated invitation, YMCA-Kaitagi Judo Club instructor Sensei Ferdie Cudao said that twelve YMCA Judo players will be in attendance namely; Charmea Quelino, Twin sistersZia and Zaira Aquitania and twin brothers Zuc and Zac Aquitania, Alexyz Allan, Axel Allan, Floyd Rillera, Kenneth Oya-an, Keifer Dumawa, Leo Santeco, Mariah Pauly, and Andrea Alanis.
According to Sensei Ferdie Cudao, the YMCA-Kaitagi Judo Club will testing their Judo skills in besting other players in three divisions namely; 16 year old and above Open Belt Division in eight weight categories Men and Women division, 16 year old and above Men and Women White belt Division also in eight weight categories, and the Kid’s Division categorized in four divisions for boys and girls, below 7 years old in two weight class, 7-9 years old, 10-12 years old, and 13-15 years old, all in three weight classes.
Meanwhile, Sensei Cudao also extended invitation to all interested to join the YMCA SUMMER FROLICS PROGRAM for allied and combative sports training as well as the YMCA Pre-School Reading Readiness programs for children looking for a worthwhile summer fun activity; enrolment is on-going at the YMCA of Baguio City office, for first batch of enrolees classes for the sports programs will start April 6 – May 9, 2015 and second batch trainees will start June 1 – 30, 2015.
