Vendor hurt in Bucay stabbing incident

BUCAY, Abra February 09 – A 32-year old vendor was injured after he was stabbed by a knife-wielding suspect at San Miguel, here, Thursday.

            Police authorities identified the victim as Ricky Lomo Mondocan, 32, resident of Dalnetan, Agtangao, Bangued, Abra, while the suspect was named as Ar-jay Munoz Condez, 21, a resident of San Miguel, Bucay, Abra.

            Initial police investigation showed that the victim was selling corn when the suspect suddenly stabbed him on the different parts of his body for still unknown reasons.

            The victim was rushed to the Abra Provincial hospital for medical treatment while the suspect was arrested by responding police operatives awaiting the filing of the appropriate charges against him.
