The โlucky sevenโ Young Farmersโ Challenge (YFC) Regional Level awardees, called Yaggies,ย successfully pitched their business model canvasses online during the Phase 1 of the YFC National Level Competition on November 7 to 9, 2022.
On Monday, November 7, Raymark Manawas from Mountain Province, Jomarie Mangeg from Benguet, and Aimee Gaddao from Kalinga were the first three to present their enterprise.
This was followed by Cris Reshon Guiral from Kalinga, Nora Hill Evasco and Florinda Tiw-an from Benguet, and Josephine Guimangal from Ifugao on November 8, and Justina Nadiahan from Ifugao on November 9.
The presenters pitched their enterprise for a maximum allotted time of 5 minutes. The panel of judges was also given 5 minutes to ask questions regarding their business pitch.
Phase 1 of the national competition involves the selection of 35 finalists among the 112 regional awardees nationwide. These 35 enterprises will advance to Phase 2 for the selection of the 12 Outstanding Youth Agri-Business Models on November 24 to 25, where each national enterprise awardee will receive an additional financial grant of P300,000 per enterprise.
