ALFONSO LISTA, Ifugao – Seventeen individuals, including sixteen elementary pupils, were confined in a local hospital after they were said to have been victimized by alleged food poisoning after eating aruskaldo or chicken pourage at their school canteen Wednesday.
Senior Superintendent Constancio Chinayog, Jr., officer-in-charge of the Ifugao Provincial Police Office, said that the victims allegedly ate aruskaldo being sold in their school canteen during their recess.
After several hours, the victims started complaining of stomach pains and started vomiting prompting their teachers to rush them to the Potai District Hospital.
Most of the victims were confined while the case is still undergoing investigation.
