LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – Pangasinan Basketball teams of Binmaley, Manaoag and Urdaneta City remained undefeated for the past four outings of the 1st Governor’s Cup Inter-Town Basketball Tournament Quarterfinals with 4-0, 3-0, and 3-0 standings as of Sunday.
With a standing of 4 wins and 0 loss, Binmaley team dominated the ring in its two successive outings on February 18 and 19 at Alaminos City and Villasis gymnasiums despite home court advantage of their rivals. Binmaley managed to win against Alaminos City team and Villasis team with 100-97 and 83-78 respective scores.
An exciting match between Calasiao and Lingayen Sunday brought the house down as both teams started on equal footing. Deciding point, on the other hand, happened in the last few seconds of the match where Calasiao beat Lingayen by a slim two points, 90-88 final score.
Intense match, on the other hand, happened between Asingan and Bugallon as both teams managed to swing their scores in the last two minutes of the game, 98- 99, in favor of Bugallon.
With two deadlocks at 99 in the last 1.40 minutes time left and another at 100 with 1.02 final minute. Penalties went in favor of Bugallon ending the match victoriously against its rival, 107-101.

February 19 results: (Calasiao Gym) Manaoag, 109 vs Tayug, 78; Sto. Tomas, 103 vs Labrador, 70; Calasiao, 90 vs Lingayen, 88; (Villasis Gym) Bugallon 107 vs Asingan, 101; Mangaldan, 99 vs Malasiqui, 82; Binmaley, 83 vs Villasis, 78.
Current team standings are as follows: Cluster A (Win-Loss): Binmaley 4-0, Malasiqui 2-1, Mangaldan 2-1, Alaminos City 1-1, Asingan 1-2, Villasis 1-2, Bugallon 1-2 and San Manuel 0-3; Cluster B (Win-Loss): Manaoag 3-0, Urdaneta City 3-0, Calasiao 3-1, Sto.
