As the result of the relentless efforts of PROCOR cops to track down persons wanted by the law, 37 wanted personalities were arrested from April 3 to 9 2022.
According to the records of PROCOR’s Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD), for the week, Baguio CPO has recorded the highest number of arrests with 15 arrested wanted persons followed by Benguet PPO with 8 arrests, Abra PPO with 6 arrests, Kalinga PPO with 5 arrests and Ifugao PPO with 3 arrests.
The manhunt operations were highlighted with the arrest of 15 wanted persons listed as Most Wanted Persons on various levels. Three (3) were listed at the Provincial Level, three (3) at the City Level, two (2) at the Municipal Level, and seven (7) were listed at the Station Level.
At the Provincial Level, arrested personalities were identified as Aljon Linan, listed as No. 2 was arrested for the crime of rape; Abner Baligod, listed as No. 3 was arrested for violation of the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016; and Marvin Salay, listed as No. 3 was arrested for the crime of Statutory Rape.
At the City Level, Jonas Atencio, listed as No. 4 was arrested for Anti-Trafficking in person; Jhoemar Raposas, listed as No. 6 was arrested for the crime of Rape; and Evelyn Bravo, listed as No. 7 was arrested for Qualified Theft.
At the Municipal Level, Gerald Camungao, listed as No. 4 was arrested for Violation of RA 9262 or the Anti-Violence against Women and their Children Act; and Jovie Villora, listed as No. 5 was arrested for Frustrated Homicide.
Lastly, at the Station Level, Filber Mendoza, listed as No. 3 was arrested for Theft; Victoria Oligo listed as No. 4 was arrested for Violation of RA 7610 or the Anti Child Abuse Law; Ricky Manlapas, also listed as No. 4 was arrested for Acts of Lasciviousness and Qualified Rape; Martin Rimas, listed as No. 5 was arrested for Frustrated Homicide; Rosalyn Ferrer, listed as No. 7 was arrested for violation of National Internal Revenue Code; Geronimo, Rivera, listed as No.9 was arrested for Qualified Theft; and Eugene Fernandez, listed as No. 10 was arrested for Robbery in an uninhabited place.
