TABUK CITY, Kalinga May 06 – Four drug personalities, including a drug surrenderee of a neighboring town in Cagayan, were arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after having found illegal drugs in their possession during separate anti-drug operations in the city recently.
Police Col. Davy Vicente Limmong, officer-in-charge of the Kalinga Provincial Police Office, disclosed that combined police operatives implemented a search warrant against Yull Brynner Bacwaden Carbonel, 23, married, farmer and a resident of San Juan, Tabuk city, Kalinga where 1 medium size transparent heat sealed containing white crystalline substances believed to be shabu has an approximate weight of more or less 1 gram with equivalent street value of 4,000 pesos 1 disposable pink lighter; 16 used aluminum foil bundled up as one were confiscated from him.
Further, combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents arrested Richard Bueno, 27, DOH worker, and a resident of Centro Solana Cagayan, Arvin Rodico Alvendia, a drug surrenderee of Enrile Municipal Police Station 40, married, contractual, and a resident of Madarulog, Cagayan, and Junior Galming Ticnang, 48, married, farmer and a resident of Agbanawag, Tabuk City, Kalinga.
Confiscated from direct position and custody of Junior Ticnang during the checkpoint are 1 small size transparent heat sealed containing white crystalline substances believed to be shabu having an approximate weight of less than 1 gram with an equivalent street value of 500 pesos; 1 motorcycle key; 1 Honda XRM motorcycle color black/white without plate number.
Moreover, seized from the two suspects during a pot session were 1 improvised aluminum tooter; 3 disposable lighters; 1 small empty transparent sachet containing residues; 1 used aluminum foil and 1 bundle unused aluminum foils.
Inventory of confiscated pieces of evidence were conducted with the presence of representatives from Media, DOJ and Barangay Officials. Arrested suspects and confiscated evidences were brought to Kalinga PPO for proper documentation while appropriate charges are being prepared against the suspects.
