City officials recently commended and congratulated Jacob David Manabat of the Pines City Colleges and Ma. Alyssa Carlos Tagata of the University of Baguio (UB) for ranking fifth and eight places, respectively in the November 2023 licensure examination for dentists.
In a resolution, the city’s legislators stated that the city government proudly recognizes and commends the outstanding achievement of the licensure examination passers, together with their esteemed institutions which contributed to further promote and sustain Baguio City’s title as the Education Center of the North.
Earlier, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted the licensure examination for dentists last November 28-30, 2023 and January 4-11, 2024 for the practical examination.
Subsequently, the PRC announced that out of 1,668 examinees, 732 successfully passed the said examination.
Manabat of PCC ranked 5th with an average of 82.04 percent while Tagata of UB ranked 8th with an average of 81.63 percent during the said examination.
Copies of the approved resolution will be transmitted to both the successful board passers and the institution where they graduated from for their information, guidance, ready reference and further needed action. By Dexter A. See
