The 73rd edition of the Januarius Fil-Am invitational golf tournament is set on November 22 to December 10 at the Baguio Country Club (BCC) general manager and Fil-Am invitational golf tournament co-chairman Anthony de Leon said that this year’s staging of the longest running amateur golf tournament in the Asia Pacific region will surely be filled with fun and surprises following the scrapping of all the community quarantine restrictions that had been previously imposed purposely to contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
From November 22 to half day of November 24, 2023, participating golfers will have their practice rounds while team captains will be holding their traditional meeting at the CJH Golf club.
The tee off for the seniors division and regular flights F and G will be at 4 pm of November 24, 2023 which will be followed by the opening cocktails at 6 pm at the CJH.
The tournament proper will start on November 25, 2023 while the traditional welcome party will be held on November 26, 2023, 6 pm, at CJH.
The annual Theme Night for the first week of the tournament will be held on November 28, 2023, 6 pm, at CJH.
The Awards Night for the seniors division and flights F and G will be held on November 30, 2023, 7, at BCC.
De Leon claimed that December 1 will serve as a rest day for the participating golfers in preparation for the opening of the games for the regular division.
On December 2 to half day of December 4, 2023, golfers of the regular division flights CH, A, B, C, D and E will have their practice rounds in both courses while the ceremonial tee off for the regular division will be held at 4 pm of December 4 followed by the cocktails at 6 pm pf the same day.
The tournament proper for the regular division will fire off on December 5, 2023 while the welcome party for the regulars will be held on December 6, 2023, 6 pm, at CJH
The Theme Night for the regular division participants will be held on December 8, 2023, 6 pm, at BCC.
The Awards Night for the regular division will be held on December 10, 2023, 6 pm, at CJH.
