BAGUIO CITY A 48-year old electrician died after he allegedly succumbed to alleged cardiac arrest while sleeping inside a parked jeepney at Santa Escolastika Village, here, Sunday.
Senior Superintendent Ramil L. Saculles, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the alleged victim of natural death as Eric Galuzo, Eserio , 48, single, electrician and a resident of Purok Magsaysay, Loakan Proper, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed the victim went to attend the wake of the deceased relative of his friend when he felt sleepy that prompted him to ask permission from his friend to go to sleep.
Unknown to his firmed, he went to sleep inside a parked jeepney along the roadside in the said barangay where he was found lifeless by concerned residents several hours later.
Emergency responders found that he had a negative pulse with stiffened extremities, thus, he was brought by elements of the Scene of the Crime Operation (SOCO) team to a local funeral parlor for the conduct of the required autopsy to ascertain the cause of his death.
