BAGUIO CITY April 24 – A 17-year old teenager was hurt after she was repeatedly stabbed by an alleged drunk male inside the latter’s boarding house at Padre Zamora St., here, Saturday.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daseko, acting city director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the victim as Christine Pasaylon Anne Bueza, 17, single, and a resident of no. 296 Young land Camp 7, Baguio City while he named the suspect as a certain Christian Surnit Bandon, 19, single, vendor, and a resident of no. 87 San Luis Extension, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed the victim and the suspect, together with several companions, were having a drinking session inside the latter’s boarding house when he reportedly took a knife and started stabbing her on the different parts of her body.
After the incident, the suspect tried to escape from the crime scene but he was collared by concerned citizens who turned him over to responding police operatives who arrived in the area.
The victim was immediately rushed by concerned neighbors to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment while he suspect was subsequently detained awaiting the filing of appropriate charges against him.
