MOUNTAIN PROVINCE – The officials and personnel of the Barlig and Paracelis district hospitals witnessed the blessing and inauguration of newly acquired fully-equipped ambulances from the Department of Health-Center for Health Development-Cordillera Administrative Region (DOH-CHD-CAR) office during two separate occasions on November 3, 2022.
According to Gov. Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, Jr., the provision of equipment from the DOH will further improve the services of the two hospitals in transporting seriously sick or injured patients requiring immediate medical attention to a better equipped health facility.
In Barlig, Governor Lacwasan, Vice Gov. Francis O. Tauli and Mayor Clark C. Ngaya led the inauguration of the ambulance for the Barlig District Hospital and the Barlig Rural Health Unit while Rev. Father Andrew K. Claver of the Saint Michael Parish blessed the vehicles.
In Paracelis, Rev. Fr. Requino of the San Gabriel Parish officiated the blessing of the emergency vehicle while Board Member Angel Moises T. Tamang joined the other provincial officials during the ceremonies.
Also present during the two occasions were Sangguniang Panlalawigan-Committee on Health Chair, Board Member Joshua B. Fronda, Provincial Health Officer Annie Claire B. Pekas and Provincial Human Resources and Management Officer Leonila Milagrose F. Malla-ao.
