PUDTOL, Apayao – The province’s No. 2 top most wanted person facing rape charges was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant in his residence at San Jose, here, Tuesday.
Police authorities identified the arrested wanted person as Alberto Loreta Paestre Jr., a resident of, barangay San Jose Pudtol, Apayao.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Francisco S. Donato of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 26 in Luna for 4 counts of rape in relation to the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 7610 or the Anti-Child Abuse Law with no bail recommended for his temporary liberty.
The arrested wanted person was brought to the Pudtol Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against him.
