BenguetCorp Laboratories Inc. (BCLI) – Benguet Laboratories, a subsidiary of Benguet Corporation was awarded the IS0 9001:2015 certification on Quality Management System (QMS) by TÜVRheinland® last January 3, 2018.
Benguet Laboratories, located in downtown (or at the heart of) Baguio City, is a medical diagnostic center accredited by the DOH catering to the pre-employment medical examination requirements of local, overseas workers and seafarers, as well as out-patient medical services for the public at large. What started as a company facility for Benguet Corp employees in the 1980s has become one of the leading clinical facilities providing affordable healthcare to local residents in the area. Patients are now assured of receiving medical care aligned with globally-accepted standards in quality management.
ISO 9001:2015 is an internationally accepted standard that specifies the requirements for a quality management system, ensuring that the certified organization is able to further improve client satisfaction and efficiency of service.
The TÜVRheinland®, headquartered in Cologne, Germany is a leader in international certification in the Philippines and works as an independent body in evaluating management systems, granted the QMS certification to BCLI. TÜVRheinland® worked closely with the team of BCLI since August 2017 to ensure that the ISO QMS standards will be fully implemented.
The certification is further testament to BCLI’s commitment, and dedication to provide high quality medical care, and treatment at affordable rates to its patients.
