The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) had a lecture on the enhancement of public awareness of BSP advocacies particularly in maintaining the integrity of the Philippine currency and on financial and economic matters, earlier today, June 06, 2023.
Ma. Lourdes Laconsay, Bank Officer IV, and Dante Cambri, Bank Officer II from the North Luzon Regional Office conducted the lecture at the Bontoc Municipal Auditorium.
Their learning module focuses on the familiarization of Philippine currencies including the first polymer piso, financial learning topics such as Saving and Budgeting, Dept Management, Digital Payments and Cyber Hygiene, and financial inclusion’s Paleng-QR Ph Plus Program.
The participants are from the various municipal offices of the Bontoc Local Government Unit(LGU), especially those with cash handling duties, Barangay Treasurers, market Vendors and transport groups, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, and other organizations.// Kayna Casey Shalou Ubongen
