BAGUIO CITY – Back from a successful staging of its 3rd edition last year, the Bulado Cup is back for a fourth time. Spouses Francis and Josephine Bulado will be again sponsoring the 4th Bulado cup on May 28, 2017 at the YMCA of Baguio City gymnasium.
The fourth staging of the tournament will feature a corporate category in five divisions and levels A to E, in accordance with the levelling of participants which will be done before the tournament as follows: Level A – composing of former varsity players only and/or corporate players who shall be levelled in Level A; Level B – composing of advanced players who shall be levelled as level B; Level C – composed of intermediate players and players who are medallists in level C and D in recently held tournaments; Level D – who players under level D and medallist under level D and E in recently held tournaments, and Level E – players not falling under the abovementioned levels or beginners.
The competition having to be an invitational tournament shall adopt the international Badminton Federation and the Philippine Badminton Association rules and regulations, all events shall be played in a single round robin, following the 1-35 points scoring system and will be played in the following events, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles in each category in all levels.
Registration fee is pegged at Php 600.00 for the first entry and Php 500.00 for the second entry of players who will be registering for double events. Prizes to be given away will be trophies and medals, certificate of merit for the champion and 1st runner up winners in all events, cash prizes, and certificate of participation shall also be given to all participants, and raffle draws during the tournament will be conducted.
