BAGUIO CITY – A 44-year old businessman died after he was shot to death by still unidentified motorcycle-riding armed men while he was on board his parked vehicle at Purok 5, Pinsao Proper, here, recently.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the fatality as Randolf Torres Lawagan, 44, businessman, a resident of Upper Poblacion, Tuba, Bengue.
Initial police investigation showed the victim and his wife were inside their parked vehicle waiting for their companion when still unidentified motorcycle-riding armed men suddenly passed by and fired at him once hitting him on his head.
The victim was immediately rushed by concerned citizens and his companions to the Pines City Doctors Hospital for medical treatment but he was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians due to a lone gunshot wound on his head.
The case is still under investigation to ascertain the motive of the businessman’s murder.
